低価格なシームレスドールを目指すRainstormdollへのインタビュー
最近、edolls.netでRainstormdollというユーザー名での写真投稿がありました。
宣伝投稿は原則禁止なのですが、メーカーや販売店の中の人が趣味で写真をアップする分には構わないとも明記しています。ドールが好きでそういうお仕事をしているケースだってあるわけですから。同好の士は基本的に歓迎なのです。
ただ、宣材写真っぽいのをアップするのはどうなんだろうなぁー、でもロゴとか入ってないし、リンクも貼ってないからセーフか…？
それよりなんだか聞き覚えのある名前だし、メーカーの中の人かどうか確認するのが先か…？と悩みはじめたところで、XTDOLLのインタビューを思い出しました。あぁ！ここで出てきたブランドだ！
じゃあXTDOLLさんに聞くのが早いかな、と早速メールしてみたところ、「Rainstormdollはシームレスドールを専門に販売するブランドで、私たちは同じ会社（暴雨科技グループ）の一員です」との回答を得ました。
これで変ななりすましとかイタズラという線はなくなったので、あらためて直接Rainstormdollの担当者へメールし、あれよあれよという間にメールインタビューの実施が決まったのでした。
ちなみにこちらの日本語メールは普通に通じますが、書くのは苦手なようでしたので、今回は英文でのインタビューになります。

XTDOLLさんのインタビューでも感じましたが、耐貫通指や皮下加熱、まぶたの動き等、新しい技術への情熱をとても感じます。
一方、コストダウンに関しては一言で言うと一元管理に集約されているようで、創意工夫方面のお話が聞けなかったのはちょっと残念ですね。まぁなかなか公開できることではないとも思います（笑）

比較的新しいブランドということで、もしかしたらエピソードがまだ少ないかも知れませんが、ブランドを立ち上げてから今まで、特に印象的なエピソードがあれば教えて頂けますか？

ここまで長文読んでくれた画面の前の貴方もありがとぉー！！
ヘッドとボディが一体化したシームレスドール、アルテトキオやPiperdollにもありましたが、この円安時代にシリコン製でかつ25万円台で出てきたのには驚きました。
合理的に考えればヘッドとボディを分けておいたほうが組み合わせの自由度が高いし、輸送コストも下がるし、良いことだらけに感じるのですが、実のところ生産した日がちょっとでも違うとヘッドとボディの色が全然合わなかったりします。
なので、球体関節人形の感覚でボディ1体とヘッドたくさん持って入れ替える…というのがなかなか難しかったりするんですよねぇ。もちろん気にしない人もいるとは思いますが。
それにヘッド買ったらボディも生えてきた…と冗談で言われるように、なんだかんだ両方セットで買っちゃう人も多いじゃない？
だったら最初からヘッドとボディは一体型でいいよ、と考えるのも自然な流れに思えます。もちろん、うなじにこだわりのある方は尚更のこと。
まぁ個人的には「アニメ系のデカいヘッドがシームレスだと服着せるの難しそうだな…」と感じてしまったので、アニメ系はやっぱり分離式が基本かなーｗ
